Vision Zero for Youth Demonstration Project: Year One Report

In October 2019 the Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center (PBIC) with Toole Design Group partnered with the city of Philadelphia to implement a two-year Vision Zero for Youth Demonstration Project. Demonstration Project goals included gaining an understanding of tangible strategies to ensure representation of youth within Vision Zero efforts and document potential benefits of a youth-focused approach in advancing safety for all road users. Broader project efforts included identifying replicable strategies and tools for other cities to use.

This report summarizes work, findings, and deliverables from the first year of the Vision Zero for Youth Demonstration Project work plan (October 2019-September 2020).
