Provides calculations used to estimate costs, the demand in terms of new cyclists, and measured economic benefits (e.g., time savings, increased livability, decreased health costs, a more enjoyable ride).
This resource was adapted from the demands and benefits of outlined in NCHRP Report 552: Guidelines for Analysis of Investments in Bicycle Facilities.
It is also part of the methodology for a tool (no longer supported) that helped calculate these metrics and are outlined in a Guidelines White Paper.
