Student Research to Advance Mobility Justice

As the field of transportation works to confront and address a legacy of inequities resulting from transportation policies and practices, professionals can look to important work led by student researchers. This webinar, hosted by the Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center and moderated by Charles T. Brown (Equitable Cities), will showcase research completed by former students who are entering careers in transportation. Sarah Brown will discuss how the framing of safety, equity and policing is changing in the active transportation profession, and Adrian Ayala will both the promise of (and obstacles to) alternative means of traffic enforcement. Panelists will share presentations about their work and then participate in a facilitated discussion.
